Remove Alpha Sectors 1.0 Beta Mod
This is an optional mod that overwrites the vast majority of the existing “alpha” sectors (only the base road and early-stage edit) in the “Coast-to-Coast” and “EMMN Expansion” maps, avoiding hours of monotonous, dull, and sleep-inducing travel. Recommended use in “map combos”.
– Overwritten almost 100% of the “alpha” areas in the Northeast and East Coast of the United States, as well as “alpha” sectors in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia, maintaining only one connection via Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania) connecting Washington, D.C., to the Great Lakes (Coast-to-Coast);
– Overwritten the areas of Canada (EMMN) inherited from the old CanaDream/CanaMania. Only what is necessary to connect to the Alaska North to the Future map, in addition to the cities of Edmonton and Calgary, was retained;
– Interstate 75 was maintained in Michigan to connect to Canada (Ontario), with other “alpha” sectors overwritten;
– Overwritten “alpha” sectors in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
This is a beta version of the mod; it only overwrites the “alpha” sectors, without any major minor edits. It can be modified whenever necessary. The choice of areas to be overwritten is my personal preference, I’ve always been bothered by the game creating routes to these areas and for that reason I decided to overwrite them, in order to avoid monotonous and “sleepy” journeys. – Coast-to-Coast, EMMN Expansion and Ontario-Quebec (required);
– Alaska North the Future (paid map) – desirable for a better experience, but not required.
