Extended Traffic Signal Timing & Phases v1.0 (1.61.x) Mod
Extended Traffic Signal Timing & Phases for ATS – this modification improves traffic signal timing and phase behavior in American Truck Simulator to make intersections feel more realistic. Default traffic lights in ATS often change too quickly, especially at larger intersections. This mod increases signal timing and adjusts sequencing so traffic has more natural time to move through.
Features Extended Traffic Signal Timing & Phases:
– 🟢 Longer green lights for straight traffic (around 30 seconds)
– ↩️ Longer protected left-turn phases (around 20 seconds)
– 🟡 Approximately 5-second yellow lights
– 🔄 Improved transition timing between signal phases
– ↩️ Left-turn signals activate before straight traffic where applicable
– 🔗 Better synchronization between opposing signals
– ⏱️ Reduced unnecessary delays between one signal turning red and the next turning green
